Signalong

Signalong is a very important part of the way we support our children’s communication. Our Speech and Language Therapists work with children across the classes in Prospect Bank. They also hold workshops for parents and carers to share communication strategies and to teach some basic Signalong.

We have selected 12 core Signalong signs for all staff and children to focus on. Now that these are fully imbedded in our practice we have selected a further 12 core signs to work on. Our Speech and Language Therapists have created a story incorporating these signs to help us learn them.
