Christmas time at Forest Schools

We’ve had a lovely couple of weeks in the woods in the run up to Christmas and have been lucky with the weather.
A couple of weeks ago we made some yummy edible Christmas treats for the birds and decorated a tree to make the birds a Christmas tree if their own. This week when we checked the treats were all gone so they must have enjoyed them.
We had great fun going on a Christmas star hunt to find all the stars that were hidden in the trees. When we found them we exchanged them for a chocolate coin or chocolate santa.
We all made Rudolf reindeers out of clay and used sticks, acorns and rose hips that

we found. They looked very cute and when we were finished we found homes for them in the woods.
